Trewan Sands Children’s Charity (TSC Trust)

The outstanding Trewan Sands Children’s Charity (Registered Charity Number: 1124485) was established from inspiration and kind hearts. The charity began after the founders, had a very personal experience.

The son of personal friends of the charity’s founders was diagnosed with a terminal illness, with only months to live. Both parents gave up work to spend what little time was left with their cherished son.

Due to a huge drop in income and surplus funds, making their son’s last dream of going to Florida a reality, seemed impossible. Before the charity began, the founders – close friends of the family, decided to try and raise as much funds as they could with various fundraising activities.

Cycling thousands of miles cycles across continents fundraising – eventually they made their friends and terminally ill family’s dream of going to Florida for some last treasured, precious, cherished memories – a reality.

The founders of the charity began to realise, many other families must be out there in the same position with poorly or terminally ill children. That quite simply, can’t afford holidays, day trips or even activities.
