Anti-skid road plates and steel road plates are designed as a temporary solution that are installed over potholes, trenches and ditches.
Steel Road Plates and Anti-Skid Road Plates provide access to traffic over broken ground, such as entrances to construction sites, potholes on roads and ground excavations.
Anti-Skid Road Plates for Roads Repair
Potholes are a huge problem in the UK, this is due to a few factors including; poor materials used in the construction of roads as well as, weather and environmental factors.
Anti-skid road plates provide a high friction, skid resistant road covering, installed to permit traffic, works access and pedestrian access over broken or excavated ground.
This type of road plate is generally opted for with highways agencies, local authorities and road networks due to the skid resistant surface.
[box type=”note” width=”600px” ]As per legislation (Safety at Street Works and Road Works Act), road plates intended for use on UK roads and streets must be treated with an appropriate skid resistant surface.
