St Helens Plant are pleased to introduce another new product we are bringing to the market, the Stair Guard System.
St Helens Plant work in close relationship with many of our customers, who themselves are large suppliers, contractors and end users.
In doing so, we often design and engineer products to meet very specific needs that address safety, usability and security issues.
New Product: Stair Guard System – All Systems
The Stair Guard System is a genuine British made scaffolding product that has been designed and manufactured by the St Helens Plant team.
This system uniquely addresses both a safety and a security issue many contractors and companies face when scaffolding is erected on site.
The Stair Guard System is designed to prevent individuals from entering an erected scaffold that has stair cases installed. This is a problem for some sites, where young people often view scaffolding as climbing frames and construction sites as amusement parks.
The installation of the Stair Guard System prevents access to the scaffold and the installed stair case, reducing accidents of unauthorised individual and fatalities caused by them falling from height.
Features and Benefits
The Stair Guard System can be installed on any type of scaffold, from system scaffolds such as Kwikstage, Cuplock and Ringlock etc, to traditional tube and fitting systems.
The system is easily installed on each side of the stair tower, manufactured from high quality controlled steel.
Featuring steel mesh panels on each side, with a quick-hook action installation, that attaches to vertical standards top and bottom and horizontal ledgers on all sides, complete with an anti-tamper bracket.
The front and rear steel mesh panels attach the same way, with the front featuring a steel mesh hinged door that has lockable ability.
The Stair Guard System is available fully galvanised, self-colour or painted in any RAL/BS protective paint. Additional panels can be provided to enclose further heights.
