Scaffolding collapses at west London offices yesterday without warning resulting in traffic chaos.
Yesterday scaffolding collapsed at the Galliard Homes offices to flats conversion, a 40m section of double facade scaffold fell onto the pavement and road at approximately 1pm yesterday afternoon. A passer by stated it was a miracle nobody was injured.
The scaffolding structure had been constructed using traditional tube and fitting scaffolding also known as tube and coupler scaffold was being utilised as a facade for the podium of the old eight story office block, Trident House located on Station Road.
The house builder Galliard Homes is converting floors two to eight of the former headquarters of Avis, car rental company into a 98 studio apartment development.
