Ringlock Repair & Servicing
For Precision Performance

Detailed Component Inspection

Each Ringlock item is assessed for thread wear, distortion, and joint integrity — with a focus on rosette hubs and connection points that take the most stress.

Zinc-Safe Surface Treatment

Unlike painted systems, Ringlock must retain its galvanised finish. We use non-abrasive cleaning methods to keep protection intact while restoring visual clarity.

Precision-Perfect Repairs

All damaged verticals, horizontals, and braces are repaired or straightened using controlled, compliant methods that ensure preserved alignment and load capacity.

Ringlock Repair & Maintenance —
The Industrial Standard

Ringlock is designed to take a beating — but even the toughest scaffold needs servicing. Our team specialises in restoring galvanised modular systems without damaging the protective zinc finish.

We assess every component — verticals, horizontals, ledgers, braces — and carry out structural repairs, straightening, and zinc-safe cleaning. Every piece is returned sorted, tested, and ready to reassemble. Trust St Helens Plant to maximise the lifespan of your scaffold investment — without cutting corners.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Ringlock Refurbishment – Safe. Serviced. Site-Ready.

What does your Ringlock servicing process involve?
We inspect, clean, and repair Ringlock scaffolding components — including standards, horizontals, and braces. This includes structural checks, zinc-safe cleaning, straightening, and minor weld repairs.
Can you service galvanised Ringlock without damaging the coating?
Yes. We use non-abrasive cleaning and treatment methods to preserve the protective zinc galvanisation while removing surface build-up and oxidation.
What types of Ringlock components can you repair?
We service all major Ringlock components — verticals, ledgers, braces, rosette connections, base collars, and transoms — restoring both function and fit.
How do you check if Ringlock items are safe for reuse?
Each item is manually and visually inspected for wear, cracks, misshaping, and thread damage, especially around load-bearing points and locking mechanisms.
Do you straighten bent Ringlock standards and ledgers?
Yes. Where structurally viable, we realign bent components to restore safe use and precise fitment within modular systems.
Can you remove concrete and site contamination from Ringlock?
Absolutely. We use safe but effective techniques to remove concrete splatter and site grime, without harming the galvanised layer.
Do you re-galvanise Ringlock components?
We typically avoid full re-galvanisation due to cost, but if corrosion is excessive, we’ll recommend alternatives — such as targeted repair or replacement.
What’s the turnaround time for Ringlock servicing?
Most batches are turned around within 7–15 working days, depending on volume and condition. We’ll confirm a lead time when quoting.
Can I have serviced Ringlock returned sorted and ready for use?
Yes. We label and sort reconditioned stock for easy deployment — helping reduce site delays and improve logistics.
Do you offer delivery and collection for Ringlock repair jobs?
Yes, we offer full nationwide collection and delivery. You can arrange your own transport or let us handle the logistics end-to-end.
Is it cheaper to service Ringlock than to buy new?
Absolutely. Servicing restores performance at a fraction of the cost of replacement — especially for large inventories or regularly cycled gear.

1
Step 1: Equipment Blasted
Using a 4-wheel semi-automatic shot blasting machine to remove paint and debris, exposing hidden defects. This efficient process reduces cleaning costs significantly.

2
Step 2: Inspected & Repaired
Stringently inspect cleaned scaffolding for flaws, defects, damage, rust, and rot. Conduct internal quality assurance procedures to ensure thoroughness.

The initial stage is inspection of all components after blasting / cleaning, then follow onto the repair & servicing process.
3
Step 3: Equipment Finishing
An anti-corrosive coating is applied to all repaired equipment, enhancing durability and protecting against future corrosion and environmental damage.

From intake through shot blasting, inspection, repair, painting, and final QC, each component follows our rigorous six-step quality control system, ensuring industry-leading refurbishment standards.
